That’s Right, According to Lawrence Yun, the chief economist for the National Association of Realtors, he says that across the nation Pending Home Sales have reached their highest mark in two years. He also says the last year their nationwide inventory of homes was at 4.5 million and is now approximately 3.8 million.
Mr. Yun also is forecasting more home sales and prices stabilizing in the year to come. Some of his concerns are still job loss and a large long term deficit that could translate into higher mortgage rates and raising oil prices.

Many people before purchasing a home like to compare it to others by looking at the cost of the home per square foot. This price includes the land or lot the home is built on as well as the home. NV homes have been a hit recently with investors due to the price dropping. Mesquite NV is no different, on a quick search of the Mesquite MLS I found 64 properties under $100 sq.ft.

Sales on Mesquite homes appear to be following Las Vegas trends. There are more sales this year however the prices are lower. We also have a lot more homes “pending” than we did last year at this time. We keep hearing in the media hints that the recession might be loosening. As Mesquite Realtors we try to get this information out to everyone to help them stay informed on the current situation with trends with Mesquite homes.
