Many people before purchasing a home like to compare it to others by looking at the cost of the home per square foot. This price includes the land or lot the home is built on as well as the home. NV homes have been a hit recently with investors due to the price dropping. Mesquite NV is no different, on a quick search of the Mesquite MLS I found 64 properties under $100 sq.ft.

Of these 64 listings, it is broken down to 26 condos, 19 townhomes and 19 single family homes. These NV homes under $100 sq.ft are a great value and can e used as a primary residence or as a seasonal home to get out of the cold.
Many people like the idea of a condo. This is because it is low maintenance, usually cost less than townhomes and single family homes and many times have nice amenities like pools and hot tubs to use when you stay. Mesquite condos are usually about 1,000 sq.ft and most do not have garages.
Townhomes are what many people look at when they want just a little bit more than a condo can offer. Townhomes usually have a patio area or small backyard (great for pet owners), 1 to 2 car garages, and are a bit larger then the condos. Many townhomes also may have amenities like pools and hot tubs, picnic areas etc.
NV homes come in all shapes and sizes. Some have home owners associations (HOA’s), age restrictions, gated entrances, and amazing views. Others have none of the above. Many people take advantage of the NO state income tax in Nevada by having there primary residence here.
NV homes are a good value at this time and you can still purchase a home in Mesquite NV with little or no down payment with the USDA Rural Housing Loan.
