Greetings from Mesquite, Nevada, we hope that every one is in good health and doing well. As many of you know Mesquite recently concluded the 2010 World Long Drive Championships and Military Long Drive Championships that are held annually in Mesquite. As always we had a great time and love hosting and attending this competition.
With winter fast approaching it is probably time to start thinking about plans to be in a warmer climate versus the cold and snow that will inevitably come. The good news is that it is still a buyers market and there is plenty of inventory to choose from. There are currently 356 active listings on the Mesquite MLS for Single Family Homes (207), Town homes (75), and Condo’s (74). Our bank owned properties continue to be only 12.9% of every thing for sale is Single family homes (23), Town Homes (17) and Condo’s (6). Short Sales make up13.7% with single family homes at (25), Town Homes at (7) and Condos at (17). Through October 29th there were 47 recorded transactions up from 2009 which had 34 and increase of about 37%. Our sales year to date are ahead of last year.
