Busy Season is here and it is not letting down. It seemed in October and November that the great deals (like many or our Mesquite NV condos under $100,000) from last summer might stay… well many have not! We have had a lot of inventory sell and go pending recently.
People that have been holding off buying a Mesquite NV condo because of the economy. Now it seems people are looking again and some are purchasing at low prices. Now that things are starting to look as if we are not going much deeper many people are looking for Mesquite NV condos, townhomes and small homes. Shadow Ridge Scenic Arizona
The model home is not far from completion. The landscaping is stating to take shape. Once all this done done the grand opening can be scheduled. We are looking for that to take place near the end of March 2010. There have been a few articles about the Scenic AZ and Shadow Ridge but it has been a while so let me tell you about Shadow Ridge again. The subdivision is a Planned Unit development(PUD) in Scenic. This means that all the lots have been mapped out, the roads are in, sewer and water are already in and some of the curb and gutter work is done in phase 1 of the project. This is the first project of its kind in Scenic Arizona.

The Mesquite Chamber of Commerce is located on 12 w Mesquite Blvd. Suite 107, Mesquite NV 89027. I was told the new 2010 Maps just came in as well as some new relocation material. With all the new construction going on we always have people asking where new streets are and who is hiring for jobs etc!

What a year 2009 has been. We have seen an overall increase in real estate sales (up over 8% from last year) while the market value and prices in Mesquite continued to decrease at a rate of about 1 percent per month. We have also seen a decrease in inventory; by that I mean the number of homes for sale on the MLS has dropped from Jan 1, 2009 to now. I expect to see this trend continue into 2010. Las Vegas, NV for the last 6 months has been considered a “Seller’s Market” due to the low inventory of homes for sale. With the influx of buyers we have seen this year… Mesquite Nevada is not far behind.
Mesquite year to date has had 342 Homes, condos and townhomes sold and recorded in 2009, according to the Mesquite MLS.
