Mesquite Nevada is located about 80 miles north of Las Vegas Nevada. Mesquite currently has a population of about 20,000 people… many of them are retirees and golfers!
#6-10 of the Top 10 selling communities in Mesquite in 2009 are:
#6 The Springs Condos. 14 Sales.
The Springs Condos are located on the South side of I-15 near the CasaBlanca Resort and Casino. Daily, weekly, and monthly rentals are allowed by the City of Mesquite and in the CC&R’s for the association. There are about 135 total condos in The Springs. Mesquite in 2009 has seen the condo market effected the most with the down economy.
The Springs condos are designed as 2 level condos. What is unique about these condos is that they are designed so that each upper unit will not be over another lower unit’s living space… however it may be above the garage(not considered living space). They have a swimming pool, hot tub, plaground and picnic area. Getting to the numbers, The Springs Condos in Mesquite sold for an average of $89,007. The sizes ranged from 975 square feet to 1381 square feet.
#7 Rock Springs Condos. 12 Sales.
Rock Springs Condos include what we call Rock Springs I with 176 condos and Rock Springs II with 344 condos. Both are very similar. Rock Springs are popular with people that just want a little place in the sun. It is located just East of the Eureka Casino. Rock Springs condos are built as 4 plex’s in which almost everything is maintained for you and is a great “turn key.” Each Rock Springs condo association has a swimming pool with hot tub.
Rock Springs feature 2 sizes of condos a 996 and 1192 square foot models. Each is a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. They also have an additional storage closet outside and covered parking. The average sold price for a Rock Springs condo in Mesquite NV for 2009 was $91,050.
#8. Vista Del Monte. 11 Sales.
Vista Del Monte Homes are a very nice area. It is a gated, golf course course community on the northeast side of Mesquite NV. Some of the homes have backyards touching the Arizona Boarder. Other homes are situated on the Oasis Golf Club’s Canyons Golf Course. Many of these homes were built by Ence Homes, who is still building nice, quality homes in Mesquite Nevada.
Vista Del Monte which translates to “view of the mountain” has some terrific views. The whole area sits on a small mesa over-looking Mesquite Nevada on one side and Arizona on the other. There are about 148 homes that make up this community. The average price was $242,581. The sizes ranged from 1,419 square feet to 2,527 square feet. Most sales were about 2,000 square feet.
#9. Grapevine Villas. 11 Sales.
Grapevine Townhomes are the perfect place for those that don’t need something real big and want single level floor plan with a garage. Grapevine Townhomes also have a small backyard perfect for those with small pets. They are set up as a Duplex type home, where two townhomes are under the same roof. There are about 188 Townhomes in Grapevine Villas. Mesquite NV has many townhomes and prices this year have been great for buyers. This area averaged sales of $115,445 in 2009.
#10. Morning Star. 9 Sales.
Morning Star subdivision is located south of Smith’s grocery store on the southeast side of Mesquite Nevada. Morning Star has about 157 homes. There is no home owner association or dues in this community. It is close to the shopping and retail stores. Most of the homes here range in size from 1,048 to 1,890 square feet. The average price for a home in Morning Star this year has been $161,877.
