The ride near the Virgin River has been changing... There used to be some great paths all along the Virgin River, but since the flood of Dec 2005 and again in Dec 2010 the trails all got washed out and there is so much debris and the river changed course. SO you can reach parts of the Virgin River to get down to the water but currently I am not aware of any paths that let you go very far along the river. Sorry.

Larry, Sorry for the delay... had to head up north... against my will! This is straight off the Nevada DMV website "Off-Road Vehicles: ATV's, non-street-legal motorcycles, snowmobiles, etc. are not registered or titled in Nevada. You may not drive an off-road vehicle on any public street. There is no driver's license requirement or minimum age for operation." However, Talking to local law enforcement they only enforce this on the main roads with multiple lanes or if there is a report called in. They generally give a warning first and ask you to stick to the side streets.

Those Razors are nice! I was just talking to a Mesquite Police Officer about this last month. He said that ATV's and golf carts can drive (off to the side) on any roads with the exception of the the main streets like Mesquite Blvd., Sandhill and Pioneer. Also they do not approve of just racing up and down the roads... so you may drive ATV's on the side roads in order to access other roads, trails, golf courses etc. Hope that helps!

I have a street legal Polaris RZR. It is legal to drive on most paved streets in rural areas and in small cities. I read in the above information that this is not allowed in Nevada. Is this because the site has not been updated (this is a new law in Utah)
or is this still the law in NV.
